FIVB President meets leadership of Indonesia’s Proliga ahead of Finals

FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F°, alongside Asian Volleyball Confederation President Rita Subowo and the FIVB delegation, yesterday met with the CEO of Indonesia’s Proliga, Hanny S. Surkatty, and Vice President Reginald C. Nelwan to discuss the development of volleyball in the country and explore opportunities to work together on bringing the sport to the next level.


During the meeting, the FIVB President stated his commitment to supporting the development of the Proliga, Indonesia’s top professional league, through knowledge transfer initiatives. For example, he invited the league’s leadership to attend one of the FIVB’s key volleyball events, such as the Volleyball Nations League and Club World Championships, to help bring more innovative ideas to further elevate the Proliga.


Following the meeting, the FIVB President said:


“It was a pleasure to meet the leadership of the Proliga. As we work together with the National Volleyball Federation of Indonesia to strengthen Indonesia’s national teams, the national league will have a key role to play in contributing to this development. Our team is at the full disposal of the Proliga, and I have invited the league’s leadership to attend some of the best FIVB volleyball events to bring more exciting innovation to the passionate fans here in Indonesia.”
