FIVB President receives honour plate from Beach Pro Tour Elite 16 Uberlandia organisers

FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F° was recently awarded an honour plate by the organisers of the highly successful Beach Pro Tour Elite 16 event in Uberlandia which was jointly delivered by the South American Volleyball Confederation (CSV) and Praia Clube from 9 to 13 November.

The honour plate was presented at the venue between matches by Praia Clube President Carlos Augusto Ribeiro Ferreira Braga, Minas Gerais Volleyball Federation President Tomás Mendes and CSV President Marco Tullio Teixeira. The award recognised the support of the FIVB President in the hosting of the Elite 16 event and his continuous commitment to developing beach volleyball worldwide.

The successful event put the city of Uberlandia on the global sports map, with the tournament being the first ever international beach volleyball competition hosted in the city which is located just over 400 km south of Brasilia.
