Nevobo Medical Congress to take place during FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2022

The Dutch Volleyball Federation (Nevobo) has announced that a national Medical Congress, Jump 2 Prevent, will officially take place on 23 September in Nijimegen, the Netherlands during the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2022.

Organised by Nevobo in collaboration with Radboud University Medical Center Nijmegen, the Jump 2 Prevent Medical Congress programme will be centred on two key themes - prevention and lifestyle. Leading keynote speakers, including sports physicians, physiotherapists, scientists, athletes and coaches, will deliver sessions on the most recent developments and insights in medical science in elite sport.

In addition to various sessions covering lifestyle improvement and returning after injury topics, congress participants will have the opportunity to watch the Netherland’s opening World Championship match against Kenya at the GelreDome.

The full programme will be conducted in English and is open to all health and medical professionals in the global Volleyball Family, as well as students with an interest in sports and exercise medicine.
